A Prayer for Loneliness

Father, I am lonely. Not just alone — lonely. That particular ache of feeling unseen, unknown, unbelonging.

Your Word says You set the lonely in families. I am asking You to do that for me. Bring me my people. Give me courage to initiate.

Until that community comes, be enough. Let me feel Your presence as companionship today.

Amen.

What Does the Bible Say?

God Himself said in Genesis 2:18, "It is not good for man to be alone." Isolation is identified as a problem from the very beginning. God's design is for you to be known and loved in community.
