Bible Verses for Fear
For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.
— 2 Timothy 1:7What Does God Say?
God's response to human fear throughout Scripture is consistent: He does not say "nothing bad will happen." He says "I am with you." The antidote to fear is not the removal of threat but the assurance of God's presence within it.
Bible Verses

So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed.— Isaiah 41:10

What this means: The valley does not disappear. You walk THROUGH it. But the shepherd walks with you.
3
There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear.— 1 John 4:18
What this means: The love that drives out your fear is not your love for God — it is His love for you.
4
Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; the Lord your God will be with you.— Joshua 1:9
What this means: God gave Joshua not a feeling of courage but a command — with a promise of presence.
