Bible Verses for Purpose

Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is.

— Romans 12:2

What Does God Say?

The Bible teaches that purpose is not found — it is revealed through transformation. Ephesians 2:10 says you were created in Christ Jesus "to do good works which God prepared in advance for us to do." Your purpose was planned before you were born.
