A Prayer for a Job Interview

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.

Father, I come before You ahead of this interview with a heart that is both hopeful and nervous. You know every detail of this opportunity. I surrender my agenda and ask for Yours.

Give me words that are clear, confident, and honest. Calm the nerves that want to take over my mind. If this is Your door, open it wide. If it is not, close it gently and redirect me.

Whatever the outcome, I trust that You are guiding my career. Go before me, stand beside me, and let Your favor rest upon me.

What this means: The interviewer is not your judge. God is with you in that room.
