A Prayer for a Job Interview
Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.
— Proverbs 3:5-6Father, I come before You ahead of this interview with a heart that is both hopeful and nervous. You know every detail of this opportunity. I surrender my agenda and ask for Yours.
Give me words that are clear, confident, and honest. Calm the nerves that want to take over my mind. If this is Your door, open it wide. If it is not, close it gently and redirect me.
Whatever the outcome, I trust that You are guiding my career. Go before me, stand beside me, and let Your favor rest upon me.
Amen.What Does the Bible Say?
The Bible speaks consistently about God's involvement in work and provision. Proverbs 16:3 says, "Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and He will establish your plans." God promises to direct your path when you submit your ways to Him.
