A Prayer for Purpose
Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is.
— Romans 12:2Father, I come with the honest ache of a heart that is searching. I want to know my purpose. Not just what I am good at, but what You created me for. I am tired of guessing.
Transform my mind. Show me where I have been conforming to a pattern that was never yours for me. Open doors that are for me and close the ones that aren't.
I surrender my plans, my timelines, my expectations. Make me a woman who walks in purpose — not because I earned it, but because You called me.
Amen.What Does the Bible Say?
The Bible teaches that purpose is not found — it is revealed through transformation. Ephesians 2:10 says you were created in Christ Jesus "to do good works which God prepared in advance for us to do." Your purpose was planned before you were born.
